Grand opening of Seedevi Spice Exports state-of-art factory premises!
A new spice processing factory has been opened in Matale district as another step in the effort to boost the local economy according to the Prosperity Vision Policy statement. Seedevi Spice export is a Sri Lankan company that built this factory in Matale provincial area. The new factory was opened by Central Province Governor Lawyer Lalith U. Opened under the patronage of Mr Gamage.
The 65-year-old Seedevi Business Group has been set to add fair value to the international market by adding quality value through this new factory. Sri Lanka is one of the number one spices producing countries that have quality in the world. Governor Lalith Yu Gamage stressed here that there should be an enthusiasm to launch local finished products that fit the export market.
In strengthening the local economy, quality factories should be created at rural level, publicize them and inform the people about it, and export the proposed quality spices to the local markets to provide a healthy future generation to the country through healthy food free of poison. The governor also stated here that it should be referenced.
