60 Years In The Business

For centuries, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) was well-known in the world as the Spice Island. Ceylon Spices were the best in the world, rich with flavours and aroma that distinct only to Ceylon. Seedevi Spice Export is a heritage company founded in 1960 by a passionate entrepreneur who recognized the uniqueness of Sri Lankan Spices as a good product to open for the export market.

Seedevi Spice is associated with high standards of quality and originality that maintained for the requirements of the business to business and retail buyers around the world. The state-of-the-art machinery, technology, facilities, standards and well-trained human resource supports SeeDevi Spice to enhance the brand for both local and international markets. Our processes have been re-engineered to find the perfect composition, nontoxic nature and high purity in our products.

We are in the discussions to obtain the BRC, ISO 22000, FSCC22000, HACCP, GMP quality certificated in acknowledging our products to suit global markets with best practices.

1958

Start

We started as a small collecting centre in 1958 @ 13, Harrison Jones Road, Matale, Sri Lanka.

1980

Expanded

Expanded our business by starting a warehouse facility @ 17, Vihare Road, Matale, Sri Lanka.

1985

started manual processing

Started manual processing for export market by destoning, cleaning & packing.

2018

New processing centre

In 2018 started a new processing centre based on certified technology with hygienic process @ Wawana Estate, Palapatwela, Matale, Sri Lanka.
